Under bradley dewey s direction thermal dynamics focused in two areas plasma cutting and plasma welding developing new portable devices and capturing the largest market share for plasma welding in the u s.
Thermal dynamics 60i vs hypertherm.
I am a little confused about the amp thickness ratings of the td machines their 60a machine is comparable to a 45a hypertherm.
My interest is in cutting 3 16 and smaller steel.
Cutmaster 60i now has 16 6 more cutting and piercing capacity to help you get jobs done faster and cleaner.

1970 brought in the first pak unit power supply cooling system and console combined into one unit.
The only time i would go thermal dynamics is if i had a chance on their old units including the pak 10 44 45 these are not the pak xr series but the original pak series.
Hypertherm has some good stuff max 43 70 80 100 and the new powermax series but to be absolutely honest you really can t go wrong with a unit from either manufacturer.
The cutmaster 60i is the newest addition to the plasma cutmaster line.
The salesman tells me this is because td lowers the rating of the machine so that the recommended cut could be performed all day without issues to me this means the duty cycle however the duty cycle of the td machine is not much better than the hypertherm at the same current level.
The cutmaster 60i is the perfect combination of end user insight advanced technology and intelligent design.
